A passionate football fan and certified youth football coach, Snoop Dogg even started the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) in Los Angeles, which has provided thousands of young boys and girls a positive environment.
Recently, the famous rapper has aligned with adidas on an exclusive set of football cleats — the Snoop Dogg adizero 5-Star 4.0 Uncaged cleat and Gameday Trainer.
Unbeknownst to many, Snoop Dogg is actually adidas’ Director of Football Development. With this new cleat and training shoe designed by Snoop himself, the overall aesthetic takes cues from Snoop’s solo debut single, “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?)” music video, in which Snoop transforms into a Doberman.
The Snoop Dogg adizero 5-Star 4.0 Uncaged stays true to its signature makeup with a strong and lightweight SPRINTSKIN upper which reduces the weight of the shoe, as well as featuring a Doberman print on its exterior, while SHOCKWEB provides strength and durability. Additional reinforcement is given by a 5-Star frame top plate to summarize its overall build. The Gameday Trainer however incorporates a simple makeup with tonal Black covering its suede/leather upper, all while resting atop a Gold-colored sole unit.
Snoop Dogg and adidas will unveil the collaborative collection this Friday at Undefeated LA first, with a chance to meet Snoop as well. Worldwide availability for both the cleat and trainer is set on Monday, June 1st.

Kudos to Snoop for doing big things. Givenchy popularized the Doberman print, so seeing it on a cleat is somewhat cheesy in my opinion..but hey, it’s Snoop.
