adidas Y-3 creator and designer Yohji Yamamoto has officially created soccer club Real Madrid’s Third Kit uniforms and they’re dope! The black and white uniforms are inspired by Yamamoto’s vision of a heroic story that positions Real Madrid’s players as modern-day heroes. The kits are made of an ultra light fabricate which enhances breathability and allows elasticity and durability. The collection also features the innovative adizeroTM technology.
On the front and back of the jerseys is the image of a mythical creature that is both dragon and bird, meant to symbolize strength, determination, power, speed, agility and cunning. Yamamoto’s signature has been placed on the inside of the Henley-style collar.
In addition to the uniforms, Yamamoto has also designed the F50 Adidas Adizero Yamamoto Football Boot that features a pair of different colored dragons. Real Madrid will wear these bold and colorful cleats on their next La Liga match.
