Today adidas unveiled the latest soccer cleat for Argentinean superstar Lionel Messi. The adizero F50 cleat was built exclusively for the UEFA Champions League. The first thing that we automatically noticed about the cleats is the use of LOTS of colors.

This statement was made at the press release of the shoe:

“Inspired by the architecture of Barcelona, Messi’s updated F50 represents every goal he has scored and the 21 cities he has scored in. The cleat celebrates the four times Messi has claimed the Golden Boot award, his four UEFA Champions League hat tricks and the three times he has lifted the famous trophy.”

Now that we know what all the colors signify, we must say that it’s a pretty nifty concept to the sneaker. We can’t wait to see Messi rock it on the field later this year.

What are your thoughts on this colorful cleat? Would you cop if you had the opportunity?
