Ever since they first launched this past spring, the adidas Pure Boost has made believers out of everybody who has worn them. Featuring a full Boost midsole and outsole and a stretch synthetic upper, the phrase “walking on clouds” and “don’t need no socks” has been thrown around. After a launch with standard colorways that don’t really move the dial, the adidas Originals influence is starting to come through with colorways like the “City Blur”, which should appeal to the sneakerhead crowd much like the massively popular “Prism” adidas ZX Flux. And with adidas opening up their premium a Standard installations in Foot Lockers across the country, they’re going to want to bring the heat to match the comfort.
