With all the collaborators that it has found as of late it seems that the adidas Originals Stan Smith has reached peak ‘specialty shoe’ position. You’d almost be hard pressed to find a plain pair and this Opening Ceremony doesn’t look to make that any easier.
The adidas Originals Stan Smith is given a zebra striped upper that reads completely different than it would if the stripes where Black. This pair is done with Grey stripes along a White background and it makes the pattern a bit more mellow than you are probably accustomed to seeing. A white leather tongue tag is stamped with Opening Ceremony’s logo to give this pair a pretty sweet finish as well. These are available now at select adidas Originals retailers including Concepts.
