As somebody who has gone to more than his share of NBA games and miscellaneous events (thanks, 2K Sports) at the Staples Center over the years, you get used to a few things. You know which way to turn in order to get to Hyde Lounge faster, you know that anybody who makes fun of people who post pics from Premier seats are idiots who don’t know what Premier seats are and you know that the Lakers (and even the Kings and Sparks to a certain extent) cast a large championship-sized shadow over every Clipper game. So it was funny to see new coach Doc Rivers do something about it when he had the team place banners of his players to cover up that “shadow”. Now if Doc could only do something about those purple seats…
