Foot Locker just released their new commercial featuring reigning NBA Rookie Of The Year and adidas athlete Andrew Wiggins. The new spot known as “Little Pro” features Andrew Wiggins unexpectedly boosting the confidence of a young fan after completing his new adidas Originals gear from Kids Foot Locker.
The commercial starts off with a young kid encountering Andrew Wiggins at a movie theater and telling him that he went to Kids Foot Locker and bought adidas Originals gear just like Andrew. Wiggins then confirms that adidas Originals gear is exactly what all the pros, like him, wear off the court. With a new found confidence the young fan calls his mom and tells her that he won’t becoming home until later because pros don’t have a curfew. The boy’s mom then demands to speak with Andrew Wiggins and he apologizes and tells her that “it’ll never happen again.”
Here’s what Andrew Wiggins has to say about being in the commercial:
“Any time you get to be in a commercial, it’s a special feeling,” said Andrew Wiggins. “This commercial especially made me remember what it was like being a kid, looking up to the pros and wanting to dress and be like them. It’s cool to have kids look up to me the way I used to look up to my idols.”
