Many people are fans of the adidas Originals Stan Smith because of it’s simplicity and minimal branding. The Stan Smith is adidas’ most popular silhouette that has no actual Three Stripes branding on the shoe. Well adidas has decided to switch up the tradition with this new colorway.

Straying away from the usual tonal uppers, this Stan Smith goes for a look people will either love or hate. Instead of only having the typical Stan Smith face branding on the tongue, for this go-around the classic tennis sneaker decides to place a print that features all sorts of adidas logos on it, old and new. It’s as if adidas went through their archives and splashed every single logo they have made atop this Stan Smith. The classic Stan Smith logo on the tongue remains as well as the trefoil logo on the heel tab. A white rubber midsole provides some contrasting along with black detailing on the inner lining, tongue, laces and on the heel.

Can you pull off this colorful Stan Smith?

Author’s Take

One of the biggest things that I don’t like about the Stan Smith is how simple and plain it is. This new colorway with tons of branding breathes some fresh air into the silhouette and I think lots of people will like it, cause I know that I do.
