T-Mac and adidas have decided to retro the adidas T-Mac 5 this year and they’ve already gone to China to show the fans overseas some love.
Now we see another upcoming release of McGrady’s signature sneaker that seems to be inspired by a commercial that McGrady starred in back in 2005. The title of the TV spot was “Impossible Is Nothing” and it puts Tracy in some imaginable and impossible scenarios (narrated by some of his younger fans) that he overcomes in order to drain the game-winning jumper. Now they’ll be a T-Mac 5 release known as either the “It Starts Raining” or “God Is Crying” colorway. The release is expected to be limited to just 2,000 pairs and rumor is that it will see a November release date.
What are your first thoughts on this new T-Mac 5 colorway? Do you remember watching the commercial back when it debuted in 2005?

Author’s Take
Tracy would have been one of the greatest of all time if he hadn’t gotten injured. He has some decent kicks with adidas, but I’m not a fan of the T-Mac 5.
