The adidas Originals Stan Smith has taken a variety of new looks this year thanks to collaborators like Pharrell and new technology that adidas has placed on the retro tennis silhouette.
One of the newest looks to land on the Stan Smith this year is the addition of lightweight and breathable Primeknit. Not only do these two new colorways of the Stan Smith come with Primeknit uppers, but adidas has also decided to add some reflective detailing on the heel tab as well as on the tongue tag. One colorway comes in all white perfect for Summer while the other comes in black and white. Both utilize a white rubber midsole and adidas printed insoles in black and white.
Look for both colorways of the adidas Originals Stan Smith Primeknit Reflective on August 8th at select adidas Consortium retailers.

Author’s Take
The inclusion of Primeknit on the Stan Smith is cool to see, but I felt that adidas came up short with this “reflective” colorway. There should have been more reflective areas like maybe the Three Stripes branding on the side panels.
