If you ask me, I would say that the adidas D Lillard 1 had a solid debut, not good but solid. Now with the 4 out the 5 starters from the Portland Trail Blazers changing teams, Damian Lillard will have the weight of the entire team on his back.
By signing a new contract this off-season Damian has committed to being the leader of this Trail Blazers team that hopes to fight for a playoff spot next season. It is now that the team needs the entire city’s support and this new colorway of the D Lillard 1 can help. This version of the D Lillard 1 is a nod to Portland and its lumberjack heritage. Some details include a brown tumbled leather upper with a flannel bootie, D-ring eyelets and the 503 Portland area code on the heel tab.
All of the Portland and Lillard fans can pick up this “Forestry” colorway of the adidas D Lillard 1 on Friday August 7th for $105.

Author’s Take
The theme/inspiration for this sneaker is one that I can definitely stand behind, but I feel that it wasn’t executed correctly. There’s too much going on with the shoe and I don’t feel like everything matches up.
