Although the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air “Cool Grey” releasing in Asia does not benefit us (consumers in the states) whatsoever, it is an indication that we are that much closer to receiving our very own shipment in the near future. Let’s take a look at this “wingless” version of the Air Jordan 1
The Rare Air version of the Air Jordan 1 is inspired by the original sample pair that was actually designed without the Air Jordan wings logo on the side of the ankle. Coming in a grey leather upper with hits of black seen on the Swoosh, and branding, the sneaker is finished off by adding white on the Jumpman on the tongue and the midsole seen at the bottom. Now that Europe and Asia both got their releases, it’s only a matter of time before we got our pair. Wait on it, it’s coming.

Author’s Take
I’m personally not looking forward to this release. Why? Well this is the pair that was not chosen to be the official. Jordan Brand chose the version with the wings, so why would I want the pair that ended up losing? That’s just me though.
