You can make the case that the adidas Originals Stan Smith has been adidas’ most popular silhouette this Summer along with maybe the classic Superstar.
With colorways like the “Fish Scale” and “Triple White” Primeknit versions we can see why its popularity has boomed this year. This new colorway keeps things a little more traditional with a Navy-based suede upper and gold accents on the heel tabs and the Stan Smith patch on the tongue. Something different about this sneaker that you Stan Smith heads may have noticed is the branding on the heel tabs that now read “Stan” and “Smith” in cursive script. A vulcanized white rubber midsole finsihes off this Stan Smith that can be found at select retailers now.

Author’s Take
Clean colorway. The combination of blue suede with gold detailing reminds me of my alma mater’s school colors. The Stan Smith script on the heels also reminds me of college, has that “letterman” jacket feel.
