For the second night in a row, a playoff game ended with a player who had up to that point had a spectacular night in a pair or Jordans only to falter in the closing seconds by being stripped of the ball. On Tuesday night it was Chris Paul and that was so bad memes and snarky tweets were born from that; last night the honor went to Joe Johnson, who scored 34 points and was doing everything he can to make sure his Nets did not lost their precious lead against the Heat. It would not be enough as Miami beat Brooklyn and were sent fishing for the summer, but thankfully Johnson left us with a memorable performance in a pair of 11s in the form of the last year’s “Gamma Blue” release.
As for the rest of the night in kicks, LeBron James wore a shiny Nike Zoom Soldier 7, Robin Lopez rocked a custom adidas CrazyGhost, Dwyane Wade did the double dip in the Li-Ning Way of Wade 2 Encore and much more.
