Paying homage to popular 1980s Italian furniture maker The Memphis Group, adidas Originals unveils the ZX “Post Modern” pack. Often described as “bizarre” and “misunderstood,” The Memphis Group has since been celebrated for its ostentatious color combinations and asymmetrical shapes, thus inspiring the likes of former Christian Dior head John Galliano and Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld. For the above range, adidas pairs some choice colorblocking with large stripes patterns and squiggly prints on three different models – the ZX 5000, ZX 7000 and ZX 8000.
