Inspired by the Barrio of Las Heras, Rosario in Argentina, where Messi perfected his skills, the silhouette was designed in collaboration with Rosario-born graphic artist Ignacio Valenti. Embodying Lionel Messi’s soccer style, the model fuses urban-inspired raw brush strokes with polished sleekness on the synthetic hybrid touch upper, while the speed traxion stud alignment and outsole are modeled on sprinters’ spikes, to provide the speed and agility, alongside a 360˚ DRIBBLETEX coating that ensures ball control in wet or dry conditions.
Messi will be seen wearing the new adidas Pibe de Barr10 on Wednesday, March 18., while its availability is set on March 19th at select adidas retailers worldwide.
