Leading up to the launch of his exclusive collection with adidas Originals, NIGO shares details on how Japanese fashion has influenced the adidas Originals by NIGO line. While known in the past for his signature all-over-print graphics, NIGO speaks on how his interest in "basic fashion," which is not concerned with seasons or eras, helped shape a collection that could be worn by a wide range of people, from children to adults. Further elaborating on his design approach, NIGO tips his hat to the '80s Tokyo era, in which mixing of many different fashion looks and concepts took place, to support his design concept to utilize silhouettes and inspiration from the past while adding personal details and modernizing the fit of each piece. The adidas Originals by NIGO collection is set for a worldwide release on October 24 at select adidas Originals stocklists.
