Over the weekend Derrick Rose helped adidas launch his newest signature sneaker, the D Rose 5 Boost, at an adidas store in Chicago with some of his fans. The event became an unforgettable moment for 20 special kids whom Rose hosted from the local nonprofit After School Matters program. Each one of the kids received their own pair of D Rose 5 Boost, signed autographs and took photos with Rose to make sure that they captured this amazing experience forever.
Derrick Rose had an intimate Q&A session with the kids and gave them advice on how to pursue your dreams, work hard and stay hungry, three things that D Rose knows all too well about himself. Later he greeted hundred of fans at a local Foot Locker who had been waiting all day to meet the Chicago Bulls superstar.
