In a rather anticlimactic turn of events big man Dwight Howard decided to head to the Houston Rockets for the upcoming season. And now that he’s settled, he and adidas Basketball will commence a 10 day world tour through many Asian cities starting in China. In concert with the World Tour adidas has made a special colorway for Howard’s recently debuted signature the D Howard 4.
The kicks feature a gradient colorway that gradually goes from red to yellow. Black graphics adorn the adidas Sprint Web frame on the back of the kicks. Metallic gold colors the iconic adidas triple stripe, while pride blue colors the lining and shoelaces. adidas took extra care to model the shoe specifically after Howard, as the tongue isa reflective gold color resembling a CD and Howard’s love for music. The back and front part of the sole are black, while the middle is white. Look for these to drop in August though there’s no definitive date yet. Keep it locked for more information.
