Skateboarding's interest with Spain is famously biased toward Barcelona, with spots such as MACBA and Paral-lel dominating camera time in just about every video from the early 2000's through the Fully Flared-era. In the middle of the country however, stands Madrid, the archaic capital; the older, more refined sister to Barcelona's younger, perhaps even prettier counterpart. Always looking outside of the lines, adidas took their skateboarding squadron to Madrid to highlight their upcoming footwear and apparel. What initially may seem like a Mark Suciu highlight reel is actually the prolificacy of an energetic young pro, and the rest of the team – though notably without Jake Donnelly – more than certainly does their fair share of shreddage of the cityscape. West coast woodsman Silas Baxter-Neal brings back some retro technical wizardzy, Rodrigo TX introduces himself to the team with a mean fakie flip, and Dennis Busenitz also shines in the above clip, which is not to be missed.
