Nike Kobe 10 Elite “Team” (Additional Images)

As we creep closer to its official release date, a new set of images for the upcoming Nike Kobe 10 Elite “Team” have surfaced.

Flaunting a Los Angeles Lakers-inspired hue with its predominantly Persian Violet upper, the silhouette’s recycled polyester yarn construction is stated in a way to resemble snakeskin, which is in accordance with Kobe’s “Black Mamba” alter ego. In addition, the sneaker’s Flyknit upper construction is reinforced with dynamic Flywire technology that offers versatility, strength, breathability and support.

Sporting a high-cut profile overall to aid his Bryant’s weakened achilles, the model is further enhanced by a dynamic sole unit that incorporates Lunarlon, Nike Zoom Air and Nike Free-inspired elements in contrasting White with Volt accents.

You can find the new Nike Kobe 10 Elite “Team” edition at select Nike retailers on April 17 for $225.

Author’s Take

I never was a fan of the Kobe’s much..although there are a few models that seem pretty nice. I actually owned the adidas Crazy 1, since I thought it was really sleek and minimal.

Anyone who plays basketball, a weakened achilles and loves the color purple should give this pair of sneakers a try.

I’m not interested.
