The latest product to be launched as part of the new adidas Soccer “Limited Collection” is revealed with this adidas Primeknit 2.0, following the recent release of the adizero 99g – the lightest cleat of all time.
Touted as the best fitting soccer cleat in the world, this new adidas Primeknit 2.0 adidas today is comprised of a lightweight Primeknit material which comes enhanced with compression fit technology. A concept that was birthed in 2014 by blending two projects such as the original Samba Primeknit cleat, and the Primeknit FS (Footy Sock) prototype, the Primeknit 2.0 is further equipped with an all-new compression tongue that’s designed to wrap around the midfoot area and create a maximum lockdown effect.
Coated with a special treatment to protect the upper from wear and tear, and retain a soft surface, the forefoot also contains a knit structure that ensures ultimate ball control and superb traction.
Extremely limited to 10,000 pairs globally, the adidas Primeknit 2.0 soccer cleats will make its debut during UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg matches later this week.
Availability for purchase at select adidas accounts worldwide will commence on April 22nd.

Author’s Take
I’m not that into soccer, other than the time I played it in high school just to see it how it was like. Along with the recent adizero 99g, adidas has a lot of soccer players covered with these recent offerings. It’s a limited edition piece as well, so maybe that can entice a few of you soccer enthusiasts.
