adidas has been killing it for decades but there is no denying this has been their strongest year in a while. The latest sneaker to benefit from their recent burst of creativity is the EQT Racer 2.0.
For those who don’t know, the original EQT Racer is anl early ’90s premium running sneaker. As they have with several vintage models (including the ZX 500 2.0, ZX 700 2.0, and ZX 8000 Boost) adidas has reimagined their vintage runner for a new, modern audience. The results are stunning. The new look of the EQT Racer 2.0 emits vibes normally reserved for the adidas Y-3 line in that it has a look that perfectly blends fashion form with athletic function.
If this first black and white iteration is any indication the EQT Racer 2.0 will be yet another smash hit for the three stripes when it hits adidas retailers shortly. What do you think of the updated runner? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take: If there is one thing adidas does better than Nike it is reimagining their vintage lines. They have absolutely nailed it. Personally I am not one for sneakers with cut-aways or see-through sections but otherwise I think this model looks fantastic.
