Prior to an initial announcement, we now have some additional details regarding NIGO's newest venture, STORE by NIGO®. Set to open in the Laforet department store in Tokyo's Harajuku district, the namesake boutique will carry the creative maestro's own HUMAN MADE®, BILLIE IDLE® and DOUBTFUL AS DOUBLE® labels, as well as his adidas Originals by NIGO collaborative line. Having left A Bathing Ape in 2013, NIGO has sincevoiced his yearning to return to the Harajuku fashion scene. Through the revamp of Laforet's Harajuku location, NIGO saw the perfect opportunity to re-establish his presence in the birthplace of the infamous Ura-Harajuku movement -- a sensible move given Laforet's proximity to his COLD COFFEE outlet and CURRY UP® restaurant. Anticipate the opening of the new STORE by NIGO® on April 29.
