Already considered minimal and subtle looking shoe, the adidas Originals Stan Smith tones it down even more, this time with the help of White Mountaineering. The White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Stan Smith Collaboration strips the Stan Smith of some of its more noticeable sneakers and gives it a unique outcome.

The classic adidas tennis low-top comes in comes dressed in a white premium patent leather. The three stripes are removed in favor of perforation holes, taking the place of the classic adidas branding we’re accustomed to seeing. All of the branding comes embossed on the upper, which can be seen on heel and tongue. The shoe also has a textured heel tab to add a little bit of dimensiion to the otherwise clean looking shoe. Completing the look are a pair of tonal laces, eyelets and inner lining. Scheduled to release May 16th, is this adidas something you’re looking forward to?

It’s way too plain for my liking. One of my favorite traits from the adidas line is the three stripes, opting to remove it in favor of perforation holes is not a good look in my eyes.
