Just yesterday we received a very short teaser of the upcoming sneaker collaboration between UK’s Palace Skateboards and adidas Originals. Less than 24 hours we already have a first look at the shoe.
adidas must be going all in with this collaboration because they will be debuting a brand new silhouette. Dubbed the adidas Originals Pro Primeknit, the new skating sneaker comes equipped with a Primeknit upper (as expected) and a synthetic construction on the toe for reinforcement and protection. A TPU heel counter is accompanied by a sole that takes inspiration from the classic adidas Gazelle Indoor. The new silhouette will debut in two colorways, black/white with a gum sole and a white pair with grey accents.
What are your thoughts on this new silhouette from adidas?

Author’s Take
I’ve never tried on a shoe with Primeknit, but if it’s similar to Nike’s Flyknit, then I’m all in. I don’t know about placing the woven material on a skater shoe though. I’d imagine that real skaters would like something with a little more padding. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this adidas Pro Primeknit does when it releases.
