Release Date: Li-Ning Way Of Wade 3 “College”

Since his departure from Jordan Brand for Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning, Dwayne Wade’s signature sneaker line has continued to grow, (now on its third) and still capturing the public’s attention with a slew of releases.

For the latest variation of Li-Ning Way Of Wade 3, the model is in reference to Wade’s tenure with the University of Marquette, hence the sneaker’s “College” moniker. Sporting the college’s signature Blue and Yellow tones, Blue is prominently placed across its upper, while bright Yellow accents are implemented throughout, but more notably on the laces and tongue.

Further pronounced by a geometric patterned midsole unit in varying shades of Blue to complement its respective colorway, a clean White outsole finishes off the design.

Retailing for $185, the Li-Ning Way Of Wade 3 “College” edition is scheduled to arrive at Li-Ning stockists this Friday, May 22nd.

Author’s Take

I’ll have to admit that I never really cared about the Dwayne Wade’s line with Li-Ning. In terms of design, this model isn’t that bad actually.

I guess I’m too biased and content with what Nike, adidas, Jordan Brand and New Balance offers. Yeah, sue me.
