Kanye West's predicted that HYPEBEAST would be posting his recent lecture at SAIC (where he also received his Honorary Doctorate), so here you have it. Amongst the variety of topics, Dr. West explained to pupils the reason for leaving Nike for adidas was due to the fact that he wasn't entitled to a percentage of earnings because he isn't an athlete. However, Nike offered him $4 million USD a year to stay, which as we all know, he turned down. Verbatim from Kanye himself, "I left Nike because they refused to give me a percentage, they also offered me $4 million a year to stay, which is an unknown thing but I’m sure it’ll show up on HYPEBEAST tomorrow."
