Change is inevitable in every aspect of life. Sometimes for the better, other times for the worse. As you all know, Nike recently a few of their top designers to adidas, but like the saying goes, “no one player is bigger than the team”. Change happened with Nike, Nike adapts and keeps it moving.  In order to offset their recent loss, Nike has recently signed their newest member of their design team. Although he is fairly young, he already has quite an impressive resume. Let’s take a look at the newest Nike sneaker designer, Colin Behr.

Colin Behr is about to graduate from Iowa State with a double major in industrial design and apparel design. In addition to that he also studied the art of shoe making at the London College of Fashion. He was also able to design three pairs of shoes sold by New Balance. He did this as an intern, which is pretty amazing. He’s not only into designing shoes either. Behr also has the opportunity to assist in designing a Todd Snyder New York park for Barneys as well a co-design a football receiver glove manufactured by Shock Doctor for Cutter’s. Keep in mind, he has able to do all this while not even completing school!Colin Behr worked, worked, and worked some more in order to improve his resume Five years later, he was finally given the opportunity to work with Nike. Although he accepted the offer quite a while back, he still can’t believe it. Great job Behr! We can’t wait to see what you bring to the table.
