“College Dropout” Kanye West turns heads, becoming the latest recipient of an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His previous denial to SAIC pushed him to create his first three albums – “College Dropout”, “Late Registration”, and “Graduation” – filled with a collection of grief triumphant moments.
Yeezus took the podium like a champ, accepting the accolade stating “you should not be sorry for your opinions”, a quote in which the fellow Midwest native reaches and relates to each and every person who has ventured similar walks of life.
Congratulations to Dr. West for his accomplishment and huge impact to the worlds of fashion, art and music.
