Today, adidas is set to open the doors to its newest retail location, based in Brooklyn, New York. The expansive, 9,300 square-foot store in Fulton Street Mall will stock a wide range of the brand's athletic wear and lifestyle shoes for the entire family. Scheduled festivities that have been planned for the special day include a live performance by Smoke DZA, and on-site sneaker customizations by local artists. Keeping in mind Nike announced earlier this month that the company has secured a 20,000 square-foot space in Brooklyn for a new store. Brooklyn is now undeniably a target consumer hot spot for the competing sports conglomerates.
