NBA Kicks: Air Jordan 10 “Bobcats”, Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl”, Hyperposite PEs galore

2014 - January 15 - 20An often-discussed topic among sneakerheads is whether or not players should wear signature kicks of other current players, especially those who have achieved a certain level of notoriety. For example, it’s one thing for a benchwarmer on a lottery team to wear a pair of LeBrons (Soldier are ok), but if Paul George is rocking the Nike Kobe 8, that gives some people pause. It is an interesting philosophical argument that has yet to see a definitive and conclusive solution.

But what if it’s a pair of kicks that is the unofficial (because Jordan Brand calls them “Wolf Grey”) sneaker of a particular team and the player in question doesn’t play for that team? Such was the case for the Denver Nuggets’ Quincy Miller last night against the Golden State Warriors when he played limited minutes in the Air Jordan 10 “Bobcats”. Now if we were to take the extreme of one side then that would mean that no player outside of the Chicago Bulls could wear Jordans in OG colorways because they were made for Jordan during his Bulls (or Wizards if you want to get super technical) days, but on the other hand it is kinda weird to name a sneaker after a team that is so hopelessly pathetic that they’re going to change the name and colors next season.

As for the rest of the night in kicks, we have Chris Bosh and Anthony Davis rocking some amazing Hyperposite PEs, Markieff Morris getting involved in a scrum with Swaggy P in the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl”, Tony Parker in his PEAK exclusives and much more.
