If you ask anybody what sneaker they think of when you mention the brand adidas, odds are that they will bring up the class Superstar silhouette. The shelltoe has been around for decades now and continues to remain at the top of the adidas popularity charts.
So with such a classic and legendary silhouette still making an impact today, it was only right for adidas to give the retro sneaker a modern makeover. The Superstar will be outfitted in the breathable and lightweight Primeknit upper this Summer, giving the classic sneaker a brand new look and feel. The pair we see above features the classic white colorway with black accents on the Three Stripes branding and the heel. The rubber shell toe and midsole keep their same OG look and feel.

It’s pretty sweet to see adidas keep such an iconic silhouette like the Superstar modern and fresh. The addition of Primeknit is a nice change that the sneaker needed to receive a new, but still classic look.
