After a rogue, politically-inclined model nearly derailed the designer's Spring/Summer 2016 runway show, Rick Owens has unveiled his corresponding set of seasonal footwear alongside adidas. Marked by the return of the fan-favorite Runner and Superstar Ripple Boots, the range is highlighted by the inclusion of two brand new Runner-inspired silhouettes: the Cargo Sandals and Clog. Making use of the Runner's distinctive sole unit, both silhouettes offer a luxurious leather footbed and military-inspired nylon upper while the Cargo takes the martial cues a step further by employing a zippered ankle strap and utilitarian MA-1 pocket.
The Spring/Summer 2016 adidas by Rick Owens collection will be made available in both men's and women's sizes beginning next February.
