With adidas Y-3 already helmed under Yohji Yamamoto, the elite Japanese fashion designer presents another revision on one of adidas’ flagship silhouettes with this Yohji Yamamoto x adidas Originals Superstar “Metallic” edition.
Celebrating the Superstar’s historic 46th year of existence, this latest iteration of the classic low-top sneaker is rendered in Metallic finishes, as suggested. Whether the model is offered in two variants, the image above displays the sneaker furnished in tonal hues of Red and Navy. Doused with the Metallic overlay across its medial, eyelets and along the rear – all of which are comprised of premium leather, the Superstar is offset by pristine White accents utilized for its rubber sole unit, heel padding and the iconic shell toe box.
