Inspired by Barrio of Las Heras, Rosario, the grounds on which Lionel Messi honed his craft, adidas presents the Pibe de Barr10 signature shoe. The collaboration was designed by Rosario-born graphic artist Ignacio Valenti and is a tribute to Messi's childhood - combining an unrefined paint stroke reminiscent of his initial surroundings with a sleek upper that hints towards Messi's style on-pitch, the Pibe de Barr10 is very much a personal statement. The Speed Traxion stud alignment and outsole have been modeled on sprinters' spikes and are coated in a special 360˚ DRIBBLETEX treatment to ensure optimal performance in both wet and dry conditions. The model's clean, white toe-box leads round to a heavy graphic heel counter and comes equipped with contrast lacing and patterned in-sole.
Set to be worn by Messi as early as March 18, these exclusive cleats will be available to purchase directly from adidas and selected retailers as of March 19.
