adidas will be celebrating Chinese New Year with their “Year of The Goat” Collection that is scheduled to release on February 19th. The collection consists of the adidas D Rose 5 Boost, D Rose Lakeshore Mid and T-Mac 3. February 19th is still quite some time away so how about we take a look at another D Rose 5 Boost that will be releasing at the end of January.
Tying in with Nike’s announcement of their “Black History Month” Collection, adidas Basketball may have the best Black History Month release with this D Rose 5 Boost. The adidas D Rose 5 Boost “BHM” is actually inspired by one of the NBA’s greatest legends, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who also had his own signature shoe with the Three Stripes. The shoe features a black and gold upper and has inspirational quotes on the ankle and midsole as well as Kareem’s face on the tongue. The kicks also come in a special box that feature that same picture of Kareem that we see on the tongue. For the moment the adidas D Rose 5 Boost is scheduled to release on January 30, 2015 with no pricing information yet.
