adidas D Lillard 1 “Rip City” (Official Images + Release Date)

Yesterday, adidas unveiled the first official signature sneaker of Portland Trailblazers superstar Damian Lillard – the adidas D Lillard 1.

While we provided images of the actual silhouette on-hand during the presentation, an official look of the shoe is now given. As seen above, the inaugural model dons the Portland Trailblazers’ team colors respectively, with Black predominant on its nubuck and leather upper, in addition to Red accents at the inner sole and laces.

Notable details consist of the Damian Lillard logo featured prominently on the heel of the left shoe, while “Dame” is written across the tongue of the right. In addition, the insole of each shoe features a unique rap lyric written by Lillard that relates to each colorway.

All resting atop a speckled midsole sole unit equipped with a full length adiprene+ cushioning for optimal stability and court performance, finishing touches are provided with a Black and White striped outsole that adds a dash of flair to the overall makeup.

With retail set at $105, look for the adidas D Lillard 1 “Rip City” to debut at adidas retailers starting February 6, while additional colorways will follow throughout the year.
