Under Armour Debuts Its First 3D Printed Shoe

Under Armour is the latest sportswear manufacturer to debut a 3D printed silhouette. Following the likes of adidas and New Balance, the Baltimore based brand now unveils the Architec, an all-purpose trainer that features a interlaced lattice midsole, 3D Clutchfit auxetic upper and a caged underfoot for extra cushioning. The model reportedly took two years to design and will likely be the first of many Under Armour silhouettes that will incorporate a 3D printing process. Priced at $299 USD, the Architec is limited to just 96 pairs and will be available for purchase online and at its flagship store in Baltimore while supplies last.
