Shortly after launching in December 2015, the adidas NMD quickly became a fan favorite due to its futuristic build in homage to three of adidas' icons: the Micro Pacer, Rising Star and Boston Super. Leaping into the new year with popularity, the forward-thinking Herzo workmanship unveiled a few technical iterations in January, most notably, the introduction of the NMD Primeknit dubbed NMD_R1, the first in the family to boast all-over graphics in contrast to its otherwise muted upper. For Spring 2016, the category is set to unveil 16 new colorways, leading with engaging renditions such as the NMD Knit Circa. With activation happening across the world in celebration of its latest instalment, we take to Hong Kong's launch event for a preview ahead of the collection's March 17 release. Taking place at The Wave in the city's industrial Kwun Tong district, we get a first glimpse of the sneakers in illuminated cases.
