The adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5, worn by James Harden and Andrew Wiggins, will also celebrate Black History Month by paying tribute to iconic African-American track and field athlete, Jesse Owens.
Having won four gold medals during the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics, this BHM variation of the silhouette inherits a mix of materials in the upper including off-white, gradient Primeknit and genuine leather with gold foil treatment. Additionally, a ‘Jesse Owens’ graphic print lace jewel and the sprinter’s name is embroidered on the inside of the tongue.
Additionally, gold accents are applied on the sneaker’s lace tips and signature details to essentially evoke a true gold metal tribute.

Gotta respect the theme and homage. The overall colorway is solid as well. I’m not a fan of this model much, but in this execution, it’s definitely appealing.
