“Stephen is a once-in-a-generation talent and has unprecedented influence on the game of basketball,” Adam Peake, executive vice president of global marketing, said in a press release to PR Newswire. “His work ethic, uncompromising self-belief, and commitment to the community are characteristics that make Stephen the perfect partner to ignite the growth of Under Armour in the sport of basketball and around the world. We are extremely proud to call Stephen family and we are excited to write the next chapter of our shared story.”

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet, but we can be pretty sure that Curry will get a nice pay upgrade in comparison to the $4 million dollars a year he makes at the moment. Especially after the contract that adidas gave to James Harden.

What are your thoughts on Under Armour going all in for the next 9 years with Steph Curry? Would you like to see other big NBA names signed to the brand as well?
