The Stan Smith from adidas has taken on so many different looks this year that it’s hard to remember what we have or haven’t seen. This new colorway is the complete opposite of the “Triple White” Primeknit version that we showed you earlier this week.
For this go-around the classic tennis silhouette decided to add some texture on its upper for a look that will be hard to forget. A black reptile texture can be seen covering the entire upper of this Stan Smith with a tonal midsole and laces. The only touch of contrast comes on the Stan Smith branding on the tongue and the heel that both come in silver.
Is this “Black Reptile” rendition of the adidas Originals Stan Smith a little too much for you or do you like seeing adidas think outside the box with a classic shoe like this?

I like it when adidas flips the Stan Smith on its head and does something completely different with it. The silhouette is too plain for my liking so when cool colors or textures are added it’s always a plus.
