Often considered the best soccer player in the world (or is it Cristiano Ronaldo?) — adidas has unveiled Lionel Messi‘s new signature cleats ahead of this weekend’s UEFA Champions League Final in Berlin.
The new adidas MESSI15 has been designed to serve Messi’s unique talents. Boasting a new messiTOUCH upper, the layer boasts an x-ray surface for sufficient grip, stability and comfort, while a new messiFRAME provides a locked-in fit, stability and maximum traction. Furthermore, a messiPRINT offers round forefoot studs, which alongside the messiGAMBETRAX combine to provide a dynamic stud configuration and outsole that delivers dynamic movement.
Lionel Messi will debut the adidas MESSI15 at the UEFA Champions League Final in Berlin this Saturday, June 6th, while the cleats will be available for purchase at select adidas locations on July 1st for $220.

Author’s Take
I feel the silhouette is too narrow and slim, but maybe that’s how Messi’s feet are? The colorway is nice in my opinion. I’m not really a die-hard soccer fan, but I’m well aware of Messi’s talent. I’ll most likely check the game instead of the shoes this Saturday.
