K-Swiss Buys SUPRA Footwear And KR3W Denim Co.

K-Swiss

We just got word that K-Swiss Global Brand announced that they just purchased One-Distribution, a skate-inspired apparel and footwear company, which also happens to be the parent company of KR3W Denim Co. and SUPRA Footwear. By purchasing One-Distribution, Robert Capener who used to hold senior positions at Reebok and adidas, will now take over as the Brand President of SUPRA and KR3W. K-Swiss decided to make this move to strengthen K-Swiss portfolio, which now has a total of six globally distributed brands.

Author’s Take

Just like the Golden State Warriors slogan, “Strength In Numbers”, I see this as a good power move in the part of K-Swiss. It’s been a while since K-Swiss had been relevant, perhaps this is the spark that will get them going in the right direction.
