Interview: Snoop Dogg Talks adidas Snoop Cleat, Influence Of Hip-Hop On Sneaker Culture (Video)

Last year, we interviewed Snoop Dogg Lion for the launch of his adidas Snoop Cleat at Undefeated Los Angeles. Before noon. On a weekday. And it was my first time on camera for Kicks On Fire. Sure, it went well, but it could have been better. Like way better…

This year, we got our chance at redemption. This time the event was at night at the new Undefeated location across the street. And as you can see from the above GIF, SNOOP DOGG (that’s right, the Doggfather was back) was in a great mood. Not to state the obvious, but when Snoop is in a good mood, everybody is in a good mood.

Yesterday, we treated you with a closer look at the event through the eyes of two of our writers who got to attend their first sneaker event. Today, we’ve got the interview with Snoop where we talk about his relationship with adidas and how he feels about certain people who think that hip-hop artists have no influence on sneaker culture.
