As far as highly anticipated footwear goes, adidas Originals and Kanye West’s second offering, the Yeezy Boost 350, ranks at the top of the list. After numerous pics of the model made their way to the ‘net, the Stripes decided to share official images for a detail look and they dropped the release date – June 27, available globally for a retail ticket of $200. All that talk of “they look like Roshes” is off-base. The upper’s a one-piece design made from Primeknit, aka adidas “second skin” material that hugs the foot comfortably tight. The 350’s also laced with Boost cushioning, which is arguably the best thing going right now.
One of the barometer tests here will be how these fare given that they’ll see a wider release than the first Kanye creation. A number of retailers, including Finish Line, PacSun and several international shops, have confirmed they’ll have them. Also, heads in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago will be able to reserve their pairs for pick-up using the adidas Confirmed app. So will that wider availability make them as desirable since more people will have a chance at them? It’s anybody’s guess but we’ll find out once the 27th arrives.
