Senior Citizens Dressed in Streetwear by Alex de Mora

Photographer Alex de Mora has chosen some interesting subjects for his streetwear shoot in collaboration with VICE magazine. "I chose to cast people over the age of 60 for a fashion shoot because they are more interesting to me than young, skinny models" explains de Mora on BoredPanda.com, "I was inspired by the character I saw when taking personal photos of my Grandmother, and I thought why not transform this into an fashion editorial."

The shoot took place in de Mora's London studio, was styled by Penny Mills and features streetwear stalwarts ranging from Champion and adidas Originals to Le Coq Sportif and Moschino, all worn by old-aged pensioners. "I had been wanting to shoot a “leisurewear” series for a while, and wanted to give a hip hop angle to the idea. I thought of Snoop Dogg going shopping in his velour tracksuit" added the London based photographer, whose previous work has appeared inDazed & Confused , i-D and Crack.
