History repeats itself nearly five years later as LeBron James scores 49 points in a playoff game, tying his postseason high that was set in 2009 against the Orlando Magic. Coincidentally, James pulled off the feat in a Nike Zoom Soldier model (the Zoom Soldier 7) just like he had done back when he was still a Cleveland Cavalier (in the Zoom Soldier 3). The main difference between then and now besides the change of address is that at least this time James gets to enjoy his performance as his team won and now hold a 3-1 series lead.

As for the rest of the night in kicks, Dwyane Wade went “Bred” with his Li-Ning Way of Wade 2 Encores, Norris Cole did a LeBron-style swap (which we talked about here), Damian Lillard would help Rip City survive another game in the adidas D Rose 4 and much more.
