Well, if you’re Nike Basketball and you were thinking to yourself what would be the best way to give the Nike HyperRev a coming out party, you could do way worse than giving Kyrie Irving a special player exclusive during NBA All-Star Game where he would win the MVP award. After struggling through the first half of this NBA season to the point where people were starting to doubt whether or not he was worth all of the hype, Irving put on a show on the NBA’s premier event with a 31-point and 14-assist performance that included more a few pretty GIFs.
Now if only Nike would do us all a solid and release that Nike HyperRev PE that Irving wore (which will probably getting a crazy nickname any second now) as soon as possible, we’d be set. Just make it easier to get than Blake Griffin’s “Galaxy” Hyperdunk PE from a few years back though…
Battle of Point Gods for the next 10 years hopefully…
Check out the rest of the night in kicks that includes the “Gumbo League” kicks of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant (via DeMar DeRozan), Tony Parker and Kevin Love rocking kicks that we’ll probably never get a chance to buy here in the US, Dwyane Wade’s bubbly Li-Ning Way of Wade 2, John Wall and Damian Lillard helping the adidas CrazyQuick 2 living up to their name and much more.
